We start with the sinking of the Lusitania and the theft of one of the Fates. To the world that particular Fate went down with the ship, leaving the other two Fates, a never to be completed trio. Needless to say, we soon find a different story. This is Nora Roberts at her best. With an interesting story line, more than one hero and heroine, and a villain you love to hate. Part of the fun is figuring out who really is a good guy and how the whole puzzle will be put together.
I enjoyed the book, but must say the first few chapters were slow for me. However, once it starts going it grabs your interest right through to the end.
