Trystin Desoll is a young officer in the armed forces of the Ecotech Coalition. Rising quickly through the ranks, Trystin trains as an agent for a mission within enemy territory. On the Revenant home planet Trystin finds himself in a position to end the war and possibly save all of humanity from an alien race tired of homo sapiens' incessant warfare.
The staying power of a bad idea is remarkable and this one goes all the way back to the original home planet. Somebody’s God told them they had Right, Truth, and deserved more territory. The outcome, a religious war that’s been going on so long everybody’s economy depends on it. Enter Trystin Desoll. He grew up fighting against religious fanatics. As a consequence he becomes a hero, a pilot, and a spy. He also had an idea.
