THE MAN I NEVER MET

By: Phillip Wolf
Fiction
Review By: ElGrandePooBah

This work is a collection of unusual historical stories in their original format, coulpled with an informative narrative. The author takes you from past to present in his own words. What used to be is compared to what now is with careful effort placed on letting the past tell it's own story through old newspaper articles, private correspondence found in old forgotten closets, and the memories of those that still survive today.

The book is rich in history and shows the many sides to a sleepy little town in southern Mississippi. Sleepy as it may seem, much has happened. More has been forgotten than was recorded or that we will ever know. This small reminder of a few pivotal events and lives of Lumberton, Mississippi, gives the reader an idea of how intricate and long a history the area has.

THE MAN I NEVER MET gives readers the chance to peek through a window to the past. I think everyone should take the time to have a look.
