Once again we meet Staff Sargent Torin Kerr, Confederation Marine. While she is not saving the world she is saving herself and eighteen others (RECON Marines, Civilians, and others) from friend or foe?
The parts of the puzzle involve a General with a political problem, said political problem, a salvage jockey, a scientist, the Navy, and fighter pilots. To top it all off she has a ship artifact with a mind of it’s own and the bugs are declaring the next engagement of their ongoing war.
Ah well, just another day at the office.
Now I want to say something about Tanya Huff. I like this author and I particularly like her way with characters and her wit. I enjoy everything she writes and if you have not read her I strongly recommend any of her books. She writes regarding war, werewolves, and things that go bump in the night and brings flair to them all.
