ON THE STREET WHERE YOU LIVE
By: Mary Higgins Clark
Following a nasty divorce, attorney Emily Graham buys her ancestral home, a Victorian house, in Spring Lake, New Jersey. The house was sold by Emily's ancestors in 1892 after a young girl disappeared. During renovations, the skeleton of a woman who disappeared a few years go is found. In her hand is the finger bone of another woman wearing a ring. Emily is determined to find a connection between the two deaths, but she becomes a threat to a seductive killer.
The Queen of suspense strikes again. If you want a good Mystery/Romance go for any book written bye Ms. Clark. This is no exception.
A nasty divorce and being stalked can get on your nerves. So Emily Graham leaves Albany for New York and decides to buy her ancestral home on the Jersey shore. Sold in 1892, and only periodically updated since, she begins renovations. The body discovered while digging for the pool is an added problem she didn’t need. Determined to find out what happened, she comes within the killers sights. Any more and the mystery is gone. Try it, I think you’ll like it.
