A serial novel with all female mystery writers - each writing one chapter. Among those participation are Nevada Barr, J.D. Robb, Nancy Pickard, J.A. Jance, Diana Gabaldon, plus more. The concept is great, but the execution is somewhat uneven in my mind. The mystery portion stays intact, but the characters tend waffle from chapter to chapter. Toward the end I found it very distracting and it spoiled much of my enjoyment.
