The one thing Lucky Houston knows is dealing cards. She heads for Las Vegas determined to make it alone in the legendary city of tawdry glitter. Then she meets Nick Chenault and he turns her world upside down. Nick has an ill father, a family business to run, and an unknown stalker threatening to kill him. The last thing he needs is distraction, or is Lucky just what he needs?

Other books in this series: Queen and Diamond. The youngest of the Houston sisters is ready to leave. She knows exactly where she going and what she will be doing when she gets there. Her goal is Las Vegas. There is where she hopes to use the skill taught to her by her father, not as a gambler, but as a House dealer. She makes it and this book tells how she did it. I like her. I like her attitude and I like her determination. I enjoyed finding out about her and meeting the characters she meets along the way. I particularly liked the smooth-talking man she meets and finally conquers. This is a fitting end to a well thought out, thoroughly enjoyable series.
