FACE THE FIRE

By: Nora Roberts
Romance - Witches/Warlocks
Review By: Ingram

The final book in Nora Roberts's bewitching New England-set Three Sisters Island trilogy brings to a close the saga of modern-day witches Nell Channing, Ripley Todd, and Mia Devlin.

Review By: Empress

Other books in this series are Dance Upon the Air, and Heaven and Earth The last book in the Three Sisters Island trilogy. In this book we find the culmination of all story line threads and the gathering of forces for the final battle of good vs. evil. This is also the story of the final sister/witch, Mia. The character of Mia has always struck me as the strongest of the witches. Not only is she beautiful and intelligent, but she seems to have the best grasp of not only her own powers, but the history of the island and what or why there must be a final confrontation. Therefore I have looked forward with great interest to this book. While I will not go so far as to say I was disappointed, it still left a feeling of incompleteness. Regarding the romance between Mia and Sam, I hesitate to say but I got rather angry. She deserved much better and frankly I do not understand why she would forgive and forget. Maybe I am just too vengeful and he doesn’t seem worth it. On to the witchcraft portion. I am sorry to say I felt this portion, in word, lame.
