For those of you who have been buying the Francesca Cahill series, and enjoying them, I would like to draw your attention to Deadly Love. This first book was brought out under the author B.D. Joyce, and I am ashamed to say I did not make the connection with those books in the series by Brenda Joyce.
This book gives a great deal of background about our heroine’s life, her meeting with the Police Chief, as well as introducing her abilities as a sleuth. Turn of the century New York adds a flavor all it’s own and allows an insight into where women were at that period. You’ve come along way baby!
