A short word about William C. Dietz, Author of THE LEGION OF THE DAMNED series. This is a new author to me and one whose ideas are fresh and innovative.
Case and point, BODYGUARD. In the future, the planet is over populated, run by a hand full of Corporations, and robots have replaced all workers. Few professions are left, one that is, however, is bodyguard. Our bodyguard, while not being the bottom of the barrel, certainly comes close. With a great deal of his brain missing due to military action, our boy, while not the brightest candle, can maneuver through this world.
A good example of a well written story about the future that has a ring of truth even if we don’t want to hear it. A recommended read.
