Laura Fairleigh needs a husband. And low a behold she finds one asleep in the woods. She wakes him with a kiss and claims him as her own. Sterling Harlow, known as the "Devil of Devonbrooke" awakens with little memory and a beautiful woman in his arms. Sounds like all is well, but no, there has to be a fly in the ointment. In this case, it’s a problem of she won’t say, he can’t say and they are at cross purposes. How this tangled web is straightened out with true love triumphant in the end is the basis for this story.
This is a good summer read, well worth that extra glass of lemonade.
