Press Release:
DOMO 17 By: Donald Neal McKay
In 1952 at the tender age of 12, Donald Neal McKay began his lifelong quest for knowledge on the old Soviet Union, Bolshevism and Russian history. In McKay's words, "I know Lenin like he was my brother."
Lucky for us that McKay's scholarly preoccupation resulted in creation of "Domo 17". Set in Paris and Moscow, Book I of The Jamazi Chronicles takes the world-renowned, enigmatic detective, Dr. Alexander Jamazi and his partner Max on a most unusual adventure: to thwart the reappearance of V.I. Lenin onto today's Russian political scene. Things get exciting when Jamazi's client, a Romanov descendent, is kidnapped and flown to Russia. A secret Russian organization; quantum computing; the transfer of vast amounts of Russian gold destined for Iran; a mysterious code and a nuclear device_a few pieces of the puzzle in this fast-paced tale of international intrigue.
McKay's primary goal is to tell a good story that the reader will not forget. The `Man from Landrum', South Carolina has had no difficulty achieving that goal with "Domo 17". The next story in The Jamazi Chronicles is in the works; look for "The Agreement" in Spring 2004.
A South Carolina resident, Mr. McKay is available for library appearances, speaking engagements, readings, and book signings. If your library is interested in hosting an author appearance, please contact me directly at 1-913-254-7266 or via email at mschutte@nonethelesspress.com.
