Payton Lee is the mother of three daughters, Sonya, Shanti, and Sara. She also has three sons-in-law, David, Vincent, and Nicholas. There are four grandchildren, Alex, Alexis, Vanessa, and Veronica.

Currrently, She lives in Orlando, Florida, and shares her life with her cat, Picard. She, and her best friend, author Autumn McCullah, share spare time and have workd together in the past on projects.
