THE GILDED WEB, WEB OF LOVE, and DEVIL'S WEB were a planned trilogy. They tell the love stories of two brothers and a sister. A PROMISE OF SPRING is a spin-off of the first book. Sir Perry Lampman and his wife, ten years his senior, minor characters in the trilogy, intrigued me so much that I had to tell their story in order to discover it for myself.
